Rhona Goskirk is close to death when she's knocked unconscious and impaled on a fence at Butler's Farm when her boyfriend Pete loses control of a tractor

A series of events puts Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) in the wrong place at the wrong time and leaves her fighting for life!

The vet is at Butler's covering her colleague Vanessa's shifts when her hungover farmer boyfriend Pete Barton (Anthony Quinlan) loses control of his tractor which then smashes inside a barn where she's working…

Inside, Rhona is knocked to the floor as the giant hay bales come toppling down on to the vet who is then impaled by an upturned fence

Hungover Pete surveys the damage to the barn at Butler's not realising his girlfriend Rhona is fighting for her life among the wreckage

It's shoulda woulda coulda for Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) who failed to tell Pete that the vehicle was running a fault - and it's on Pete, too, for being in no fit state for driving a fairground dodgem let alone a tractor.

When Pete listens to a voicemail and realises Rhona's been injured in the collision he runs to the barn and is horrified to find her unconscious on the floor, impaled to an upturned fence having been knocked over by huge hay bales…

Across the village Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) gulps when she notices the results of the Paddy's paternity DNA test have arrived.
